BDO Cayman has announced the promotion of Christopher Wiltshire from director to partner, marking a further milestone in the firm's journey towards an ambitious and energised strategic future.

Having joined the firm in 2011, Wiltshire has been instrumental in the growth of the firm and driving excellence across the board, BDO said in a press release, adding that the promotion is not just testament to his contributions but also aligns with the firm's new strategic direction spearheaded by James George, who has recently stepped into the role of managing partner following Glen Trenouth's retirement after twenty-one years with the firm.

"Chris's promotion to partner reflects not only our appreciation for his hard work and achievements over the past 13 years, but also our collective ambition for the firm's future," George said.

Following his appointment, the firm said, George brings a fresh vision to BDO Cayman, aiming to build on the firm's legacy and enhance the firm's market position through a commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and quality.

"As we move into this new chapter, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. Our strategy is focused on leveraging our strengths, embracing innovation, and driving forward with a renewed energy that benefits our clients, our people, and our community," he said.

"I am honoured to step into the role of partner at such a crucial time in BDO Cayman's journey," said Wiltshire. "I look forward to contributing to our strategic goals and working alongside James and the rest of the team to deliver excellence and value to our clients and the community."
