On 26 March 2014, the Russian Federal Council approved the Malta
– Russia Income Tax Treaty (2013). The treaty was approved
earlier by the State Duma on 21 March 2014. The treaty must still
be approved and signed by the President and, subsequently, be
ratified by Russia. Further details will be reported
subsequently.
