A double tax treaty has been initialled between the government
of Malta and the Kingdom of Netherlands in respect of Curacao.
The Double Tax Treaty is based on the OECD Model Convention as
are most of Malta's Double Tax Treaties. The treaty provides
for the elimination of double taxation and also for exchange of
information on tax matters. It will need to be signed and ratified
by both countries before it enters into force.
