The Minister of State of Labor and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by item II of the sole paragraph of article 87 of the Federal Constitution and the articles 155 and 200 of the Consolidated Labor Laws, approved by Decree-Law No. 5.452, of May 1st, 1943, Resolves:

Article 1 The Regulatory Norm 33 - health and safety at work in confined spaces, approved by MTE Ordinance No. 202 from December 22, shall take effect with the following amendments: ".....

33.3.5.3 All the authorized employees, guards and entrance supervisors must receive regular training every twelve months with minimum working hours of eight hours.

33.3.5.4 The initial training of authorized workers and guards might have minimum working hours of sixteen hours and might be held within the working hours, with the programmatic content of:

a) definitions;

b) recognition, evaluation and control of risks;

c) operation of used equipments;

d) procedures and use of the Entry and Work Permission; and

e) have an idea of rescue and first aid. .....

33.3.5.6 All Entrance Supervisors must receive specific training with minimum working hours of forty hours for initial training. ....."

Article 2 This Ordinance takes effect on the date of its publication.
