The American Bar Association is presenting the Ninth National Institute on the Civil False Claims Act and Qui Tam Enforcement at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington DC on June 6-8, 2012. Because this event draws upon experts from the Department of Justice and other federal agencies, state attorneys general offices, as well as relator and defense counsel who specialize in False Claims Act litigation, we thought our FraudMail Alert readers would be interested in it. This is without question the premier event for those who litigate, or wish to litigate, False Claims Act cases. John T. Boese and Douglas Baruch are on the faculty. Details about the curriculum and faculty are available on the ABA's webpage, at http://www.americanbar.org/calendar/2012/06/civil_false_claims2012.html.

Fried Frank and its publication, FraudMail Alert, are sponsoring a reception for attendees and faculty following the Fundamentals of the Civil False Claims Act and Qui Tam Enforcement panel on Wednesday, June 6, at 7:30 PM. Please be sure to attend the reception even if you are not able to attend the Fundamentals program.
