On March 20, the Waste Management Division of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) issued additional guidance for the inspection of above-ground and underground storage tank construction.  The evident purpose of these instructions is to reduce the risks presented by COVID-19, and to "keep construction in New Hampshire moving forward."

The guidance provides for submission by email of documentation related to, among other requirements, tightness testing, registration, ICC certified installer reports, (AST), SPCC certification, and NHDES inspection reports and more.  It also provides for limitations on, and alternatives for, direct personal contact at construction sites.
