US Corporate Law News: SEC Announces Agenda For Upcoming Investor Advisory Committee

On August 24, 2018, the SEC announced the agenda for the
September 13th meeting of the Investor Advisory Committee (IAC).
During the meeting, the IAC will hold panel discussions on the U.S.
proxy voting infrastructure and the implications of passive
investing. The IAC will also discuss the SEC's Proposed
Transaction Fee Pilot in National Market System stocks. The IAC is
composed of a diverse group of investors and was created in order
to help advise the SEC on regulatory priorities and regulation and
to promote investor confidence and integrity in the securities
