Property taxes are often one of a company's largest recurring operating expenses. The City of Philadelphia Office of Property Assessment has completed a 2018 reassessment of Philadelphia's commercial, industrial and other nonresidential properties. This is the first assessment following the new Actual Value Initiative (AVI) which was enacted in 2014.
Notices of change in assessment are being sent to property owners starting April 14, 2017.
