For the second year in a row, Pryor Cashman has been named the #1 midsize law firm in New York by Vault, beating 14 rival firms to secure the top spot.

Vault, an authoritative resource on the nation's top law firms and law schools, released its list of the "Best Midsize Law Firms in New York" on June19, 2019. To determine the rankings, associates who practice in New York (at firms of all sizes) were asked to vote for the top midsize firms. Associates could nominate up to three firms, but were not permitted to vote for their own. Vault then ranked the firms by the total percentage of votes received.

"To be recognized again as the top midsize law firm in New York reflects our unwavering commitment to provide our lawyers with the best possible practice experience," Ronald Shechtman, Pryor Cashman's managing partner, said in a statement. "Our unique combination of immersive, hands-on learning and high-touch client service has not only always distinguished us from our peers, but has also helped us attract top talent from law schools and other leading New York firms."

Per Vault, "nearly all of Pryor Cashman's practice areas have been singled out for recognition. Its IP practice has been honored by World Trademark Review; Chambers top-ranks its M&A, Media and Entertainment and Corporate practices; [and] Legal 500 its Copyright, IP, Media, Technology, and Real Estate practices. Even the Hollywood Reporter and Crain's New York Business have called Pryor Cashman one of the 'Best Places to Work in New York City.'"
