Paul, Weiss was featured in a recent article in The American
Lawyer highlighting the key law firms involved in voting and
election lawsuits and other election protection efforts currently
underway around the country. The article, published on October 15,
highlighted the firm's pro bono work in the run-up to Election
Day and beyond, including staffing the Election Protection Hotline,
serving as poll observers on Election Day, and a team dedicated to
becoming experts in the byzantine rules of counting and challenging
ballots in the states where there are likely to be legal clashes
over the election results. "The value we could add is where
the rubber meets the road: What's going to happen at the polls
as well as the processing and counting of ballots," litigation
partner Bob Atkins, who also co-chairs the
Brennan Center for Justice, told the publication.
