It was a big year for the Envoy team. Here's a look back at the honors we took home in 2019.
This year was an exciting one for Envoy Global. We continued innovating and working hard to bring transparency and efficiency to the immigration process, culminating in the rollout of a major update to our platform and expanding our affiliated law firm, Global Immigration Associates. We also had the honor of being recognized by some notable local and national institutions for our technology, level of service, work environment and commitment to technological innovation.

Built In Chicago's 2019 100 Best Places To Work
In January, we were thrilled to learn that Envoy Global ranked 38th on Built In Chicago's annual list of the 100 Best Places to Work. This award recognizes Chicago businesses that go above and beyond to provide employees with the support and resources they need to thrive.

Built In Chicago's 2019 50 Best Mid-Sized Places To Work
Built In Chicago's Best Mid-size Companies list rates companies with 101-500 employees, and we were lucky enough to rank as the 13th best mid-sized place to work! With 120 employees, Envoy makes sure everyone's voice is heard through a culture of open communication.
"One of our core values is our ability to be candid: we have pulse surveys, manager meetings, hackathons, and encourage all employees to bring up questions and suggestions to any member of leadership at monthly all-hands meetings or at any other time," says Envoy VP of Human Resources Lindsay Dagiantis.

This summer, we were named one of ChicagoInno's 10 Coolest Companies in Chicago. To them, "cool" companies are ones where employees love showing up to work every day, and we agree. Best Global Corporate Immigration Platform at the 2019 Corporate Immigration and Relocation Awards
This year, business journal Acquisition International recognized Envoy as the Best Global Corporate Immigration Platform at its 2019 Corporate Immigration & Relocation Awards. The Awards recognize the very best firms in the global mobility industry, giving credit to both the companies and professionals who go the extra mile to ensure individuals are at the right place, at the right time.
Illinois Technology Association's CityLIGHTS Industry Disrupter Award
On September 12, Envoy took home the Industry Disrupter prize at the 20th Annual ITA CityLIGHTS Awards, which commemorate the achievements of the local tech community. "We're honored to be recognized alongside such great local companies," says CEO Dick Burke. "We're looking forward to continuing to bring innovation to those we serve and improve the talent function."
Because of the judging process, the awards have become a strong indicator of future success. Not including the 2019 honorees, CityLIGHTS award winners have amassed $53.4 billion in exits, $1.1 billion in IPO proceeds and $4.2 billion in venture capital. Previous winners include Grubhub and Braintree.
The Chicago Innovation Award
On October 28, Envoy's hard work and ingenuity was recognized by one of the city's highest honors: the Chicago Innovation Award. The Chicago Innovation Awards, celebrating its 18th year, is a recognition of the most innovative new products or services brought to market each year.
Of the 450 organizations nominated, Envoy was one of just 25 companies to receive the award this year. We were flattered and honored to stand alongside some of Chicago's best and brightest innovators.
