John Smith spoke to the Financial Times about the Biden administration's strategy for dealing with China.

According to John, it's unlikely that Biden will ease up on sanctions against Americans investing in Chinese companies with alleged ties to the People's Liberation Army.

"There is bipartisan support in Congress that will press him on China," John said. "And his own team will want him to take a tougher approach on China, but with allies."
