In observance of MLK Day 2021, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney will host a virtual CLE roundtable the Wednesday before the holiday. Lloyd Freeman, the firm's Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, will moderate the discussion.

Our esteemed panel, including Andrea Agnew, Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Comcast Spectacor; Chequan Lewis, Chief Equity Officer at Pizza Hut, U.S.; and Tiffany Tavarez, Vice President, Community Relations at Wells Fargo, will explore the intersection between diversity and inclusion (D&I) and community impact.

Many companies have articulated a commitment to both diversifying their ranks and being responsible citizens. We will explore this against the backdrop of the current climate—racial tensions and social injustices nationwide—by discussing ways to connect with disenfranchised communities, highlight new perspectives and collaborate on possible solutions to business challenges. The panelists will ultimately share advice on how they are working to create a business community that embraces social inclusion and awareness.

The program has been approved for 1.0 Ethics CLE credit for PA, and 1.0 credits for the Diversity and/or Elimination of Bias Requirement for CA, NY, NJ and WV. Credit for all other states is available on request pending approval.
