Michael Lowry (Partner-Las Vegas) co-authored "May the Nevada Legislature Constitutionally Revise the Rules of Civil Procedure?" which appeared in the July 2020 edition of Nevada Lawyer. When Nevada's revised rules of civil procedure took effect in 2019 after a lengthy editing process, some of the changes were enacted over dissent. Michael questions whether that statute is a constitutionally permissible exercise of the Legislature's power.
