FTC Chair Joseph J. Simons will step down effective January 29,
2021. President Biden designated FTC Commissioner Rebecca Kelly
Slaughter to serve as Acting Chair.
The FTC also announced that General Counsel Alden F. Abbott and
several agency directors will also be departing the FTC.
