Steam is a digital video game distribution service that allows game developers to distribute their games on the service. One such developer creatively opted to name itself as "Very Positive."

Notably, the formatting of Steam's service places the developer name in close proximity to user reviews of the developer and the developer's games.  In this instance, less discerning Steam users may not understand that "Very Positive" refers to the developer name and not "very positive" reviews of that developer and its games.  Indeed, Steam suspended the developer "Very Positive" for violating Steam's rules and guidelines, particularly Steam's prohibition on the manipulation of user reviews.

This is yet another twist in the on-going saga of online user reviews and related legal issues. Stay tuned for more.
