Eversheds are launching a new online community for clients and contacts in the clean energy sector.

Eversheds' new blog ( http://cleanenergyblog.eversheds.com) is now live.

Our goal is to provide our clients and contacts with valuable sector-specific updates and an opportunity to discuss topical clean energy issues online with Eversheds' specialist clean energy lawyers and industry peers. This is part of a progressive approach to keep our clients up to date, acknowledging the changing needs of professionals working in a fast-changing environment.

Features of our new blog site include:

  • Briefings: the clean energy briefings that you have been receiving via email will now also be available on the blog. The email format for briefings will change to provide you with a summary of the briefing. If you wish to read the entire article there will be a link in the email to the web page where the briefing is available. You will be able to view briefings by category (for example, 'solar' or 'wind') or search using keywords.

  • Blog posts: the clean energy team will provide additional updates on the site relating to the clean energy sector. These updates will be presented in a number of formats including short articles, presentations and videos and will cover:
  • information relating to new clean energy legislation and grants schemes;
  • clean energy case studies;
  • short articles on relevant news stories;
  • guest articles from clean energy sector experts.
  • Our Twitter feed: keep up to date with the latest announcements from the Clean Energy Blog by following us on Twitter (@evershedsenergy). Our feed will include news of upcoming events, important policy and information releases as well as links to our latest featured articles.

  • LinkedIn discussion group: Eversheds' clients and contacts have expressed a desire to connect with industry peers online. A private LinkedIn discussion group will be launched in the coming weeks that will provide members with a private online environment to discuss relevant clean energy topics with specialist lawyers and other industry experts. Membership will be managed by Eversheds and all membership requests to join will be considered carefully.
