FERRERE assisted Empresa Argentina de Soluciones Satelitales Sociedad Anónima (ARSAT) and coordinated landing rights arrangements for the Argentine ARSAT-2 satellite with the National Telecommunications Commission in Paraguay.

This is the second time that FERRERE has advised ARSAT on this matter. The first was for obtaining landing rights for the ARSAT-1 satellite, whose authorization was granted in April 2015.

"This is a relatively new procedure in Paraguay, established in 2014, and it is very important both for satellite capacity providers and for the State to have a simple process and a single, consolidated satellite registry," said partner Marysol Estigarribia.

ARSAT is currently authorized to provide satellite capacity service to holders of telecommunications concessions, licenses and authorizations who operate in Paraguay using both ARSAT-1 and ARSAT-2 satellites.
