In this episode of the GC {RE}Defined Strategic and Resilient Leadership Series, MoFo Singapore Managing Partner Shirin Tang leads a discussion on the most pressing mental health challenges for legal teams and other stakeholders with fresh perspectives and practical ideas on how best to address them.

Issues such as stress, anxiety and isolation, were identified as widely prevalent, along with low self-esteem, loneliness and depression. Practical measures such as: raising organizational awareness and promoting inclusivity; providing best practices training and resources, as well as access to professional support; were also discussed. Softer interventions such as: actively listening; creating space to decompress; and focusing on ways to increase happiness, satisfaction and a sense of belonging were also highlighted.

Shirin was joined by Jeffery Tan, Group GC, Board Secretary & Sustainability Officer, Jardine Cycle and Carriage and CEO of MINDSET Singapore (a Jardine Matheson charity); Andi Stapleton, Courageous Co. Leadership wellness coach and psychotherapist; and Michelle Elstein, Courageous Co. Founder & corporate energizer.
