Adds Additional Depth to Firm's Credit and Hedge Fund Platforms

NEW YORK, May 1, 2024 – Leading international law firm Proskauer today welcomed credit and hedge fund specialist, Jennifer "Jenny" Dunn, as a partner in its Private Funds group. Based in New York, Jenny focuses on advising hedge funds, closed‑end funds (including debt funds), hybrid funds, co‑investment platforms and investment advisers in connection with their structuring, formation and ongoing operational needs, general securities law matters and regulatory and compliance issues.

"Jenny is a creative thinker and brings deep industry expertise. She will add immediate strength to our credit and hedge funds practices as well as our broader private funds platform," said Monica Arora, co‑head of the Firm's Private Funds group. "I am thrilled to welcome her to Proskauer and look forward to working closely with her."

"Jenny is a market‑leading funds lawyer. Her understanding of hedge funds and credit funds, including hybrid and bespoke evergreen structures, will be of huge benefit to the asset managers we serve. I am looking forward to advising clients alongside her," added Kelli Moll, co‑head of Proskauer's Hedge Fund practice. Moll also serves as co‑lead for the Firm's global credit funds initiative.

Jenny brings nearly twenty years of experience in investment management to Proskauer. In addition to her broad fund formation experience, her practice includes structuring and negotiating seed and strategic investments, advising investment managers regarding the structure and sale of their platforms and the structure of their compensation arrangements. She also represents investment managers in connection with managed accounts and single investor funds.

"The growth of Proskauer's private funds platform – by region, by sector and by asset class – over the past few years has been impressive. I am excited to join a firm with such a proven, upward trajectory as I look to continue to grow my own practice," said Jenny.

Jenny has been named among the world's "50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds" by The Hedge Fund Journal and was a member of the Board of Directors of 100 Women in Finance. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.

Jenny is the third credit‑focused private funds partner to join Proskauer since the start of the year. The Firm welcomed James Oussedik in London in February and Jennifer Crystal in New York earlier this week. Since the start of April, Proskauer has welcomed four partners with Mark Rosman (Antitrust) and Christiana Lazo (Private Client Services) joining in recent weeks, in Washington D.C. and New York, respectively.
