Wolf Popper is pleased to announce that Luis E. Bacó has become as Of Counsel and Head of Wolf Popper's affiliated office Washington, DC. Mr. Bacó has notable experience in both law and government relations. He presently also is a Senior Vice President of Capitol Hill Consulting Group and Director of International Policy Solutions LLC. Prior to his current private sector roles, Luis was Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón in the U.S. House of Representatives; and before that, he was a Capital Partner and Managing Director of the Washington, D.C. office of the Puerto Rico-based McConnell Valdés Law Firm, his most recent affiliations.

A native Puerto Rican, Mr. Bacó holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico, a Juris Doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law, and a Master of Law (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University. He is admitted to the practice of law in Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.
