Ward and Smith recently sponsored the IAPP Triangle Area KnowledgeNet Chapter Data Privacy Networking Event on March 27, held at North Carolina Central University's Great Hall in Durham.

The event brought together a diverse group of local professionals, including North Carolina Central University law students.

Mayukh Sircar, CIPP/US, co-chair of the IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapter, was pivotal in organizing the event. This gathering marked his first event since his appointment to the new role. Attendees had the opportunity to mingle and network, with law students showing particular interest in breaking into the field of data privacy law and seeking guidance from seasoned professionals present at the event.
