NEW YORK, April 1, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, is pleased to welcome Mark Rosman as a partner in the Firm’s antitrust practice in its Washington, D.C. office. Mark is a first-chair trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience litigating in both the public and private sectors. In addition to his extensive private sector experience, he spent two decades as a federal prosecutor at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as Assistant Chief of the National Criminal Enforcement Section.

“We are always looking for value-add ways to serve our clients. Mark’s extensive knowledge of and experience in antitrust law will be invaluable to the organizations we serve as the sector continues to evolve,” said Bart Williams, chair of Proskauer’s Litigation Department. “It’s terrific to welcome Mark to Proskauer and I look forward to collaborating with him.”

Mark represents companies and individuals in connection with national and international antitrust and criminal matters, including cartel defense, criminal enforcement investigations, and merger and civil non-merger cases. He also has extensive experience handling Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, fraud investigations, bribery, obstruction of justice and kickbacks. Mark has served as lead lawyer in many prominent government enforcement actions as well.

“Mark is a world-class lawyer. His deep experience in-house and at the Department of Justice will offer clients a unique perspective on the biggest legal issues they face,” said Christopher Ondeck, co-chair of the Firm’s Antitrust Group and head of the Washington DC office.

“Proskauer is well-known for its ability to provide organizations with a powerful litigation team at their most critical business moments, and as antitrust and competition laws rapidly change, that has never been more important. I am excited to join the Firm and provide clients with the resources and counsel they need moving forward,” said Mark.

Mark’s hiring follows a run of high-profile additions to the Litigation Department. Over the past year, the Firm has brought in eight litigators, including seven first-chair trial lawyers. The Firm also had a significant number of litigation wins last year, including two blockbuster antitrust jury trial victories for Sanderson Farms and Gilead Sciences.
