This is the 8th year of the highly successful Irish HR Champion Awards, organised in association with William Fry and supported by Laya healthcare, Collins McNicholas, Platform 55 and Common Purpose.

The Irish HR Champion Awards was set up to celebrate the hard work and dedication of HR teams – delivering ambitious programmes across Engagement, Change Management, Wellness, Learning and Development, Leadership, CSR, Diversity, Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding. Close to 60 submissions have been shortlisted for an Award and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner in The Marker Hotel, Dublin, on April 19. In excess of 200 senior HR professionals are expected to attend the event. MC for the evening is Presenter, Writer & Producer Ola Majekodunmi.

The launch today will be followed by the final step of the judging process, which will see all shortlisted companies interviewed in the lead up to the announcement of the winners. The Judging panel is chaired by Maurice Whelan, Managing Director, Unleash Potential.

Commenting on the Awards initiative, Event promoter, Donna O’Connor said “these Awards are quite unique in that all Award recipients on April 19th will be invited to share a little of their winning strategy, making the evening an important learning opportunity for all. There is a great sense of excitement around the announcement of winners”
