Hartman and associate Irina Rospotnyuk have been shortlisted as nominees for the Los Angeles Times B2B Publishing Orange County Inspirational Women Forum and Leadership Awards. These awards recognize accomplished female leaders from corporations and non-profit organizations throughout Orange County who have achieved remarkable success and accomplishments during the last 24 months.

Sarah G. Hartman is a Partner in JMBM's Litigation Group. Sarah advises and represents clients through all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial and appeal. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including business litigation, contract disputes, products liability, corporate and partner disputes, hospitality litigation, entertainment disputes, unfair competition, employment litigation, class action defense, false advertising, securities litigation and other complex financial disputes. She also has extensive experience representing clients in patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret disputes in federal district courts and appellate courts in the United States.

In addition, Sarah is dedicated to improving the lives of women through representing clients in the women's health technology market, known as FemTech. She published an article on the booming FemTech industry and the importance of patent protection in The Patent Lawyer magazine.

Irina Rospotnyuk's practice is concentrated in estate planning and taxation matters. She has experience assisting clients with all aspects of estate and tax planning, including advising clients on various charitable giving devices and business succession. Irina takes a holistic planning approach by working with clients' accountants, financial planners, and other service providers to ensure clients' goals are efficiently satisfied. Irina further guides clients through the probate and trust administration process.

Irina also assists clients with various tax matters and issues in the areas of estate and gift tax, property tax, sales and use tax, income tax, and residency and domicile for state and federal tax purposes. She assists with representing clients in federal, state and local tax controversy matters.
