"It's a howler
of a morning in Cork, all bluster and rain, as I duck dishevelled
into RDJ's crisp new offices at 85 South Mall. The staff only
moved into the building a month earlier after a decade at City
Gate, Mahon. The lease wasn't up but the opportunity to
reestablish the firm's headquarters in the city centre was too
tempting. Plus blended-working after Covid, where staff typically
work three days from the office and two days from home, meant a
lease on a large office space was no longer a prerequisite for the
growth of the practice."
