RDJ advised Irish medtech company Luma Vision on its recent $22 million financing round. The financing round was led by existing investors EQT Life Sciences, ABV Uni Fund and Imec.xpand, and also included new investors including Irish-based Atlantic Bridge Growth Fund and Germany's Bayern Kapital.

Founded by Fionn Lahart and Christoph Hennersperger in 2017, Luma Vision focuses on facilitating the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation (AFib). Luma Vision has developed a novel technology which gives doctors a four-dimensional view of the heart and surrounding organs.

Luma Vision will use the new funds to gain FDA clearance, prepare for U.S. commercialization and develop the next generations of its VERAFEYE platform for additional clinical applications in cardiology and beyond.

The RDJ transaction team included JP Gilmartin, Conor Moran, Marie Gavin, Hayley Kitson and Sophie Doyle.
