About EFILA and Young EFILA

EFILA is a Brussels-based organisation that aims to promote knowledge of all aspects of EU and international investment law, including arbitration. EFILA endeavours to facilitate a meaningful exchange of views on relevant and timely issues concerning the development of the European internal market, and to foster objective debate about the current system of investment arbitration. Young EFILA was launched in June 2022. Its principal aim is to promote the sharing of knowledge amongst the younger members of the arbitration community and provide opportunities for its members to exchange views on topical issues.

EFILA's Executive Board includes Andrew Cannon, Deputy Head of Global Arbitration and Co-Head of Public International Law at Herbert Smith Freehills.

For more information, please contact Andrew Cannon, Joel Halliday, or your usual HSF contact.
