At the invitation of Honourable Zhu Liying, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Mauritius, our Managing Director, Mr. Assad Abdullatiff, partook in a presentation of Mauritius as an International Financial Centre at the seat of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China on the 05^th of May 2023, alongside Mrs. Francoise Chan and Mr. Roshan Nathoo. The function was moderated by Mr Uday Gujudhur, Hon Consul of Georgia in Mauritius.

Mr. Abdullatiff's presentation highlighted the benefits of using Mauritius as a hub for asset protection and succession planning, including the types of entities available, ease of doing business, the robust and innovative legal framework, and the competitive tax regime. The function was attended by the staff of the embassy and several Chinese firms doing business in Mauritius.
