Last week Eptalex participated with a group of Italian companies gathered by the initiative of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in the Lebanese International Oil and Gas Summit in Beirut.

The support of the Italian institutions in the event shows the opportunities that the O&G sector can offer the Italian companies in the country.
Moreover, the 4th edition of the LIOG had a special relevance due to the recent signature of the EPAs between the Lebanese government and the consortium composed by Total, Eni International, and Novatek and the official start of the exploration phase.
In the upcoming weeks, the Consortium will form the Management Committee and submit the exploration program to the LPA. Then, the sub-contracts will be assigned through public bids to guarantee the transparency of the whole process, as requested by the Authorities involved.
