The competition is open to all NZIPA members aka James & Wells and our clients!

In its centenary year, the New Zealand Institute of Patent1Attorneys (NZIPA) invites entries in a design competition for a set of three new logos to refresh the NZIPA brand.

The logo will be used on NZIPA stationary, website and promotional material for an indefinite period (not specific to the centenary year).

The competition deadline is 30 March 2012. Completed entries must be received by e-mail to secretary@nzipa.org.nz before 5pm 30 March 2012.

The designer of the winning design(s) will receive $2500 cash.

The winning design(s) and identity of the winning designer will be published2 on the NZIPA website.

1A proprietary right in an invention which provides the owner with an exclusive right for up to 20 years to make, sell, use or import the invention. In exchange for this monopoly the patent is published so that others can see how the invention works and build on that knowledge. The patented invention may also be used by the public once the patent lapses.
