Consob consultation papers

Consob launched two public consultations concerning:

  • proposal for the adoption of guidelines on the performance of operations with own shares and of a communication regarding the repurchase of bonds on predetermined conditions;
  • proposal for the adoption of a communication concerning the criteria for the prospectus control carried out by Consob within the framework of the discipline established by the European Regulation No. 1129/2017 and by the Commission-delegated regulation No. 980/2019.

Supervisory provisions for banks' credit risks

The Bank of Italy published the 27th update of Circular no. 285 of 17 December 2013 "Supervisory provisions for banks", amending the chapters on "Credit risk − Standardised method" (Part Two, Chapter 3) and "Credit risk − IRB method" (Part Two, Chapter 4).

Credit quality – Bank of Italy communication

The Bank of Italy published a communication introducing amendments to the paragraph on "credit quality" in the general warnings of Circular no. 272 named "Matrix of Accounts", with regard to the definitions of impaired credit exposures applied in the supervisory statistical reports and in the financial statements of banks.
