Commodities derivatives: Amendments on the reporting Guide published

Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (Italian Stock market) published, with notice n. 22140, the amendments to the Reporting Manual of commodity derivatives. In particular, the amendments are aimed to incorporate in the reporting fields the clarifications provided by ESMA in its Q&A on MiFID II and MiFIR commodity derivatives topics, with regard to positions limits and positions notification (Q&A No. 10 of March 27, 2018).

Assessment of the information disseminated by listed companies published

Consob published Resolution No. 20649 of October 30, 2018, concerning the "Determination for the year 2018 of the parameters set forth in Article 89-quater of the Issuers' Regulation" which defines the criteria for examining information disseminated by listed companies and listed companies that have Italy as their home member state. The mentioned resolution implements the provisions of Article 89-quater, paragraph 3, of the Issuers' Regulation, which provides that Consob establishes the parameters for identifying the sample of listed companies whose financial documentation must be subjected to control each year.

Further information on the administrative procedure to authorize the use of MTRT (transitional measures on technical reserves) - IVASS

IVASS published a clarification on the application modalities of the Article 344-decies of the legislative decree dated September 7, 2005, No. 209 (Italian insurance code), concerning the transitional measure on technical reserves (MTRT). In particular, IVASS provided further information on the administrative procedure for authorizing the use of MTRT pursuant to the IVASS Regulation No. 7 of December 2, 2014, with reference to: (i) the administrative procedure; (ii) the application instructions of the standards and the requirements necessary for submitting the application and issuing the authorization; and (iii) the documentation to be attached to the application.

The Bank of Italy Circular No. 285 – Amendments of the rules concerning the remuneration policies introduced

The Bank of Italy introduced amendments concerning the regulation of the remuneration systems and are mainly aimed to adapting the contents to the EBA Guidelines on remuneration and incentive policies and practices, issued on June 27, 2016 implementing Directive 2013/36/EU (so called CRD IV).
