The association agreement between SR and European Union estimates that free movement of goods will be established within ten years and a free trade zone between SR and EU will be created.
Austria was and still is the fourth biggest business partner of Slovakia (after the Czech Republic, Russia and Germany).
At present, Austria is also the biggest foreign investor in Slovakia.
