Delhi High Court permits all caveats to be filed through e-filing module only from 2 November

The Delhi High Court has issued a notification informing all advocates/parties-in-person that all caveats will be permitted to be lodged through e-filing module only with effect from 2 November 2020.

MCA extends minimum residency relaxation for resident directors for FY 2020-21

On 24 March 2020, the MCA had through its circular titled 'Special Measures under Companies Act, 2013 (CA-2013) and Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 in view of COVID-19 outbreak' relaxed the residency norms for Resident Directors under Section 149 of the Companies Act, 2013 for the FY 2019-2020 as one of the special measures under Companies Act and LLP Act, 2008 in view of COVID-19. On 20 October 2020, the MCA has extended the relaxation to the minimum residency requirement of 182 days in a year for resident Directors for the FY 2020-21 as well.
