On Friday 17 November 2023, at the 10th year celebrations of the Exinity Limited (Ltd) in Mauritius, the Honorable Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, Mr. Mahen Kumar Seeruttun, highlighted the financial services sector's role as the second-largest contributor to Mauritius' GDP. The sector represents 14% of the GDP and employs over 15,000 individuals today.
Minister Seeruttun discussed initiatives to enhance the ease of doing business, including regulatory framework reviews and compliance with global standards. He underscored the importance of FinTech, pledging to enhance traditional strengths and encourage innovation. The Minister emphasized the need to maintain Mauritius' reputation for stability, urging credible players to partner with the country. He praised Exinity Ltd's achievements and encouraged the company to deepen its roots in Mauritius for sustained economic impact and job creation.
