A coveted provincial nomination effectively guarantees selection under the Canada Express Entry System, worth 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
British Columbia immigration recently announced it will stop publishing scores for guaranteed Invitations to Apply through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.
Instead the province says candidates can see the scores required by viewing the draw details published each week since 2016, when it launched its version of Expression of interest immigration.
Previously, the province had published a list of scores that would guarantee an ITA through one of five streams:
- Express Entry BC – Skilled Worker
- Express Entry BC – International Graduate
- Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker
- Skills Immigration – International Graduate
- Skills Immigration – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
