Although the list has been released, the program is not due to open until late January or February 2021. The occupation list for the Skilled Regional (Provisional) Subclass 491 visa has yet to be announced. It's likely that the Sc491 list will be more extensive than the Sc190 list, but given the number of Skilled visa places available for the 2020/2021 financial year it's unlikely to include many occupations previously on the NSW state nomination list.

The number of visa places available or the allocation for each occupation is not publicly available. We expect that NSW will continue to prioritise applicants who have (1) lived and worked in NSW for a period of time prior to nomination, and (2) can show prospects of employment within their nominated occupation. If you hold one of the above occupations and are resident in NSW, keep your eyes out for future opportunities and book a consultation with us to discuss your migration pathway.
