Commencing February 1 1997 tax administration excise points have been established at the premises of enterprises producing spirit and alcohol. The points will be composed of tax officers from the local tax administration who will monitor the accuracy of excise duty payments to the budget, whilst being permanently located on the enterprise's premises. Distribution of spirit and alcohol to customers by the producer is to be approved at the excise point.
