Canada Investor Immigration Selection & Admission Requirements

Canada Investor Immigration Selection is the sole discretion of the province of Québec and is subject to fulfillment of investment requirements and satisfactory completion of a personal interview. The selected investor immigrants will receive the CSQ – Québec selection certificate.

Canada Investor Immigration Admission is the sole discretion of the Government of Canada provided the applicant has been selected by Quebec. Admission is subject to application for permanent residence and successful clearance of medical and security checks.

Upon admission, the applicant will become a Permanent Resident and enjoy all rights of Citizenship except for right to vote and right to apply for a Canadian passport.

Canada Investor Immigration Selection Requirements

The province of Québec has complete and exclusive power to select investor immigrants applying to invest in the province and is set in the territory. The selection process involves

  1. Fulfilling the requirements of the investor immigration program.
  2. Submitting an application, and
  3. Passing the selection interview.

Selected investor immigrants will receive will the CSQ – Québec selection certificate, which is the official immigration document issued by the Gouvernement du Québec.

Canada Investor Immigration  Admission Requirements

The Government of Canada has the authority to admit business events into its territory. Admission is approved by the Government of Canada only after the business applicant has been selected by Quebec. The qualifying criteria for admission include:

  1. Submission of an application for permanent residence.
  2. Medical examination of the applicant and family members.
  3. Security checks of the applicant and the family members.

The applicant may be refused admission into Canada even if selected by Québec if the health of the applicant or any family member poses a risk to public health in Canada or may put excessive burden on the public health services in Canada.

Upon admission, the applicant will receive status of Permanent Resident. The status entitles the applicant to enjoy all the rights enjoyed by a Canadian citizen except for the right to vote and the right to apply for a Canadian passport.

The applicant can apply for Canadian citizenship after four years of permanent residency.
