You must fulfill the following conditions to apply for permission to enter the UK under this visa category.
- You must score at least 75 points for attributes as specified in Appendix A of the Immigration Rules.
- You are from outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
- You must fulfill the minimum investment requirements.
Minimum Investment Requirements:

| Apply for indefinitely leave to remain after 2 years | Invest £10 million in UK government bonds, share capital or loan capital in active and trading UK registered companies |
The money should be freely transferable to the UK and must be convertible into pounds sterling. It is your responsibility to ensure controls over transfer of currency does not impede the transfer to the UK.
You can rely on money owned singly or jointly by either yourself or your spouse, civil partner, unmarried, or same sex partner as long as you have unrestricted right to transfer and dispose the money and have permission of your partner to control the money in the UK.
