Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP, the Maples Group's law firm, is pleased to have advised NearForm on the Irish corporate legal aspects of its investment led by Columbia Capital.

NearForm develops enterprise software and uses cloud computing to build business platforms. NearForm is the software company that developed the technology used in the HSE's COVID-19 contact tracing application. This multi-million euro investment will be used to scale operations and grow the company over the next few years with plans to accelerate recruitment in sales, marketing, engineering and design, across North America and Europe.

A team based in the Group's Irish office advised NearForm and was led by Colm Rafferty, a Partner and co-head of the Irish Corporate practice, who was assisted by Associate, James Reidy.
