On March 31, 2021, the DC Circuit Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services honored Arnold & Porter at its virtual "40 at 50" Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Event for providing "outstanding leadership in pro bono service" for residents of Washington, DC. Arnold & Porter was specially recognized as a "60 at 50" Pro Bono Leader for having 60% or more of attorneys contributing 50 or more hours of pro bono service during 2020.

Arnold & Porter is one of just seven firms that had 50% or more of its attorneys hit the 50-hour mark for pro bono service in both 2019 and 2020, earning the firm a consecutive designation on the "50 at 50" Pro Bono Leader list in addition to its place as a "60 at 50" Pro Bono Leader in 2020. The 17th annual event honored law firms at which at least 40% of all attorneys dedicated 50 or more hours in 2019 and/or 2020 to providing free legal representation to individuals with limited financial resources or to charitable organizations.

The event also acted as a call-to-action for attorneys to provide much-needed pro bono legal services to all of those who need them, including survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Recognized firms have devoted hundreds of thousands of hours to help ensure that those living in poverty in DC have equal access to justice under the law.
