Overview
On April 19, the Canadian government will present its first federal budget in over two years. While it is expected that Budget 2021 will focus in large part on the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic economic recovery, other revenue raising tax measures such as a potential digital services tax and a public consultation on updating Canada's anti-avoidance rules, including the general anti-avoidance rule (GAAR), remain on the horizon.
Please join the Osler Tax team on April 21 via webinar for our analysis of the more significant tax proposals included in Budget 2021, and how they may impact corporate taxpayers.
