Taft Dayton partner, Suzanne Sumner, participated in the Dayton Business Journal 2021 Bizwomen Mentoring Monday event held on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021. The annual event is held in more than 20 cities across the United States and gives women the opportunity to connect with leading businesswomen in their communities for valuable advice and insights into advancing their careers. More than 11,700 women registered for this year's event.

Sumner focuses her practice on government contracts law and commercial litigation. She provides advice on a wide variety of issues related to solicitations, contracts, and subcontracts and assists prime contractors, subcontractors, and public buyers with issues related to their government contracts, from the pre-solicitation phase to contract close out, and has advised clients on issues pertaining to multi-billion dollar contracts. She also assists clients with preparing and submitting termination proposals and requests for equitable adjustment. Sumner has been an honored recipient of the Dayton Business Journal  Who's Who in Aerospace & Defense award since 2018.
