William Fry is pleased to announce the appointment of Owen O'Sullivan as the Firm's new Managing Partner. Owen is the former Head of William Fry's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department where he specialised in commercial and financial sector disputes. Owen succeeds Bryan Bourke who has been Managing Partner for the past six years and who returns to the Firms market leading Corporate / M&A practice.

Owen joined William Fry in 1999 and has been a Partner in the Firm since then. He has advised on many high-profile disputes and has extensive product liability defence experience in the pharmaceutical, energy, drink, motor and tobacco sectors. Owen has also served as a member of the Law Society's Litigation Committee for six years, chaired the Steering Committee of the Commercial Litigation Association of Ireland for two years and is currently a member of the International Bar Association, and DRI Europe.

Speaking on his appointment to the role of Managing Partner, Owen O'Sullivan said: "I am delighted to be elected to the role of Managing Partner by my fellow partners at William Fry.
