Walkers Professional Services ("WPS") has today announced the launch of its e-Learning Anti-Money Laundering Training portal, adding further to the services that WPS now provides through digital means.

It is the requirement of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority ("CIMA") that persons, such as directors, partners and principals of Cayman Islands investment funds, undertake Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") training as prescribed by CIMA, and the robustness of this training forms part of any CIMA audit. The portal will enable people to access training on the AML regime through a sophisticated e-Learning module which is regularly updated to ensure all changes in the AML regime are captured. For ease of use, the portal is accessible via desktop or mobile device.

Speaking to the new product offering, Dorothy Scott, WPS Managing Director of Compliance and Regulatory Services and the project lead, shared: "Now more than ever, there is strong demand in the industry for a dynamic training tool that allows users to access materials on demand. The training is self-administered, so users can move at their own pace, allowing them to fully grasp each concept and consider application of AML requirements in real-time."

The Walkers Compliance e-Learning AML Training portal is designed and administered by Walkers' AML officers and is fully compliant with applicable regulations and CIMA guidance. For more information and to register, email AMLTraining@walkersglobal.com.
