On November 16, 2020, the federal government introduced the Consumer Privacy Protection Act and the Personal Information and Data Protection Tribunal Act, a significant overhaul of Canada's private sector privacy legislation. Drawing inspiration from sources ranging from Canada's existing Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act to the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, the new law represents the most significant change to Canadian privacy law in 20 years. Our multi-disciplinary panel will look at the proposed legislation from different perspectives and talk about what steps organizations should take to get ready for compliance.

Join us for a two-part webinar presentation as we tackle key issues surrounding Canada's privacy overhaul and what that will mean for your organization.
