HOUSTON February 1, 2021 — Arnold & Porter announced today that Katherine Treistman has joined the firm's Complex Litigation practice as a partner, resident in Houston.

"Katherine has handled a wide range of complex disputes across a number of industries," said Christopher Odell, head of Arnold & Porter's Houston office. "Her arrival strengthens our presence in Houston and adds depth to the litigation capabilities nationally."

Ms. Treistman's practice focuses on complex commercial disputes in the energy, technology, and finance sectors. She has represented clients in high-stakes commercial disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Ms. Treistman handles disputes ranging from antitrust, auditor liability, and employment, to other commercial claims.

Ms. Treistman earned her JD from the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a member of the Texas Law Review. She received her BA, magna cum laude, from Tufts University. She spent the first 20 years of her practice at a nationally prominent litigation boutique.
