We honor our former colleague Drew Days. Drew was a trailblazer and lifelong civil rights lawyer. His remarkable career reminds us we can make a difference, as he so clearly did. Drew served in the U.S. Department of Justice as Solicitor General and Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. He was also a beloved professor at Yale Law School for many years. At MoFo, Drew was a cornerstone of our Appellate and Supreme Court practice, joining us as "of counsel" in 1997 and serving our clients for more than a decade. We remember Drew not only as a civil rights hero and gifted lawyer, but also as an extremely modest and unfailingly kind colleague, who always had time to show interest in others.
